A hyperlink is a special text on a web page that is linked to another web page.


  • Let us say you are viewing a web page like this blog now.
  • You see a number of tags and other texts that are linked to other pages in the blog.
  • Hyperlinks allow you to jump from one web page to another.
  • Hyperlinked text is usually in blue or underlined or colored in someway to distinguish them from normal text.

Click a hyperlinked word in this blog and watch the screen jump to another page.
